House of the Future in Johannesburg and Garden of the Future in Cape Town are two events, initiated by the Netherlands Embassy and Consulate General in South Africa, following the principles of #cocreateSA: by joining Dutch and South African forces in business, government and education, we can achieve sustainable and innovative solutions for local challenges.
House of the Future takes place in Turbine Hall in Johannesburg and is a physical space where counterparts from both countries are brought together in workshops, round tables, seminars and presentations. Garden of the Future takes place in the Old Mutual building in Cape Town and is an interactive exhibition, showcasing the first tangible fruits of successful South African-Dutch partnerships.
Both events celebrate and stimulate collaboration between South Africa and the Netherlands and revolve around the question: how can we #cocreateSA?
